Germany, Kriegsmarine. A Destroyer War Badge, Cloth Version certificate_of_authenticity from July 1953 to July(Zerstrerkriegsabzeichen, Stoffversion). Constructed of mutli coloured tightly woven machine embroidery; the obverse consisting of an oval wreath of laurel leaves with a national eagle perched on the top of the badge clutching a swastika, and a side view of a destroyer cutting through a wave, with the bow of the ship extending over the wreath; all woven onto a dark blue wool backer, with black cloth backing; in overall mint and unissued condition.
