We have found this species does best in intermediate tropical conditions with slightly more shade than other Nepenthes

We grow this one under intermediate and highland conditions but also suspect it would do well as a highlander

It is found at 1200 meters elevation so it would be best grown as an intermediate but should also grow well in highland conditions and likely as a lowlander as well

We grow many different iterations of these cross and we find them all to be very hardy over a wide range of conditions with pitchers that are beautiful striped

It produces dark pitchers with a flared peristome that can easily exceed a foot tall. We grow impressive specimens in our lowland, intermediate and highland greenhouses.
