surrounded by a triangular floral pattern with the letters ABYSSINIA in each negative space
applied in black paint and remaining fully intact
overall in fine condition
Nonetheless it seems that the order was also conferred on military personnel

(1907 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and leftward facing profile of King Friedrich Wilhelm III, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of FR RETTUNG AUS GEFAHR (FOR RESCUE FROM DANGER), unmarked, measuring 24. 79
