Germany, Wehrmacht. A 1939 Clasp To The Iron Cross Ii Class, Type Ii, By Wilhelm Deumer United Republic of Wagner had been captured (POW)(Wiederholungsspange 1939 zum Eisernen Kreuz II . Klasse 1914). Instituted 1 September 1939. (1940 1945 issue). Constructed of silvered and painted zink, the obverse consisting of a trapezoidal plaque bearing a raised date of 1939 on a pebbled background, topped by a German national eagle perched on top of a wreathed mobile swastika, with the date and swastika displaying post manufacture black and red painting in addition to a re application of silver
