Germany, Third Reich. A Rare Civil Pilot’s Badge, by C.E. Juncker Newly Listed maker marked “Haurich(Zivil Flugzeugfhrerabzeichen). Constructed of gilded tombak with enamels, the obverse consisting of a pair of blue enameled wings with feathering highlighted in gilt, joined together at the centre by a mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked C. E. JUNCKER, BERLIN, measuring 80. 04 mm (w) x 17. 65 mm (h), weighing 14. 6 grams, chipping is visible to the enamels of both wings near
